I just decided to make this blog more about technology but I just can’t pass up posting this amazing letter. This is a librarian’s reponse to a request to have a children’s book pulled from the library shelves or be labelled for content. The book is about a little girl’s reponse to her uncle marrying another man.

In a perfect world, the response would force the parent to reconsider their views on the subject, being one of the most thoughtful and considered letters on the subject I’ve ever read. In this world, my cynical side doubts the parent even read the response.

It’s well worth reading, no matter how you feel about the book in question and it’s content.
